The Living Cities collects as little personal data as the site needs to function. This page explains what we collect, why, and who else sees it.

What We Collect

If you subscribe to the newsletter, your email address is stored by our newsletter provider, Beehiiv, and used only to send you the newsletter. If you use the Contact form, the information you submit — name, email, and message — is sent to us through our form provider so we can respond. We do not require an account to read the site.

Analytics and Ads

We may use privacy-conscious analytics to understand aggregate traffic (which pages are read, roughly how many visitors, not who they are). If advertising is enabled on the site, our ad network may use cookies or similar technology to serve and measure ads — see our Cookie Policy for details. Ads are inactive at launch.

Third Parties We Use

Hosting and content delivery: Cloudflare. Content management: Sanity. Newsletter: Beehiiv. Contact form: a third-party form service. Each handles the data you provide to them under their own privacy policy.

Your Choices

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link in any email we send. To ask us to delete data you've submitted through the Contact form, reach out through the Contact page.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
